Here are the best Sushi restaurants in Bangalore.
Let’s be honest, Sushi might be the only dish that put Japanese cusine on the map for international diners like us.
Sushi is a traditional dish prepared with the main ingredient of vinegared rice. Vinegared rice is also known as sticky rice, sari, or Sumeshi ( in Japan).
It can be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian depending on your preference.
Sushi is best known for its seafood varieties which are often raw.
In India, Sushi is often served with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
The Japanese serve Sushi with pickled daikon radish. This technique of pickling was invented In the 7th century by the mountain people living in Southeast Asia.
You would typically find three varieties: Sushi, Sashimi, and maki sushi rolls. The difference is Sushi is sour as it has vinegar rice.
Sashimi is thinly sliced raw meat typically served without rice; Sashimi is salmon or tuna, whereas maki sushi rolls are usually cylindrical and includes grilled seaweed nori that is rolled around vinegared rice and various other fillings.
The restaurant is ostentatious; its high ceilings and grand statues with Buddha-inspired decor bring a calm and relaxing experience to your dining. They have varieties of dishes which include Japanese, Asian and Thai.
They offer veg and non-vegetarian varieties of Sushi, Sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls. You can order it in 5,8 or 16 pieces where 16pcs one is called a platter.
Their platters are hands down the best and worth your money. You can either order the one on the menu or choose from the 8pcs and make it a platter of 3 different types of Sushi. The best platter combo would be California maki (crab-stick and avocado) + crispy duck maki+ spicy prawn and avocado maki (topped with Boursin sauce), or you can choose from the veg side which usually comes in avocado, cucumber, and types of mushrooms which are topped with different kinds of Japanese sauce.
You can order a side drink which can be of your choice and trust me the quantity of the drink will not disappoint you. You can also call dim-sums, but the amount is disappointing; the chicken dim-sums are the best in taste. And for deserts, they do have some delicious cakes out of which chocolate volcano is the best.
The staff is super friendly, and this place would not disappoint you.

This restaurant, located at the 1 MG Mall, has both indoor and outdoor seating. But mostly, you would want to visit the restaurant post 7 for a lovely cozy dinner with a view of our Bangalore city with the perfect romantic light settings. It’s a happening place if you want to have lunch or dinner with your colleagues/friends with good music, drinks, and a refreshing vibe.
Their Sushi is one of the best in town, with assorted seafood varieties. They serve a combination of Sushi and Sashimi, also known as Nigiri Sushi. Nigiri Sushi is always a variety of seafood like fish, squids, octopus, etc.
The restaurant offers squids, salmon, tuna, crab sticks, cuttlefish, Thai red snapper, sea bass, and squid. It can be ordered separately or in the form of a platter. Apart from that, they offer maki rolls both in veg and non-veg, out of which the prawn tempura rolls and rainbow rolls (crab stick) are the best.
If you want something more than Sushi, don’t worry, you are at the right place; they have so much more on their menu. They have appetizers, seafood varieties, tofu and vegetables, and many more, including their dessert and drink menu. When it comes to dessert, do try out their Wasabi-flavored ice cream.

3. Broadway – The Gourmet Theater
One of the best restaurants you will come across for authentic Japanese cousins. It is located at an ideal location to have dinner with your loved ones. They have a balcony space and indoor dining. The Sushi and Sashimi Are worth the order. They have different varieties of both Veg and non Veg. They have Sashimi which usually comes in 7 pieces, it’s a little tricky to pick out the fish you want from the menu or go with the ones you know, Salmon and prawn is what I prefer. You can also try the Ikura (salmon fish eggs) from the menu. Maki rolls are one of my favorites; California Maki (crab) is the best on the menu. It would be best if you also tried the spicy crab and avocado with tuna maki. They also offer Nigiri Sushi with three pieces; choose the one you like from the menu. The only restaurant that I’ve seen with their own Broadway special maki roll from the restaurant.
Their Chicken noodle is good but could be better. They also offer Asian, Indian, and continental food varieties. So, if you are not a Sushi person, you still would love this place for the items they have on the menu. They come with a drink menu with too many options to choose from; mock-tails on the menu come with exciting flavors. The Guava punch is perfect.

It is a tiny restaurant, but what they have to offer will amaze you. The place has beautiful interior decor; even though it isn’t that spacious, it will give you an elegant vibe. The lighting is just perfect at every corner, making your dining experience exceptional.
This place has Japanese, Thai, Asian, and Korean cousins on the menu. Amongst their inside-out Sushi, you should try out the salmon roll and cheese California roll; the cream cheese makes this the best. They do have Maki sushi and nigiri varieties, Out of which the spicy tuna maki is a must. Their eats and salad menu are the lengthiest, with too many options to choose from like crispy lamb, tangy tofu cups, etc. But there Is something you should try is thy seafood salad. They also have different varieties of noodles and rice, out of which ramen noodles are the best. Don’t forget to try out the famous Korean dessert called bingsu, which is made with milk shavings and flavored toppings, loved the mango flavor in this.

5. Daily Sushi
This is a small restaurant having an elegant vibe that is located in the HSR layout. You would see their seating arrangements in primarily black and white. Lunch or Dinner, feel like eating Sushi? It is the best place to visit, and it comes within your budget. They have a pretty simple menu. This place is best known for its customized food picks in good amount of quantity. Sushi pretty much comes in both veg and non-veg.
Nigiri Sushi can be customized according to your choice; it usually comes in 2 pieces, three pieces, or a combo set. If you want to try almost all of these, you must go for the Sushi combo set they offer, which comes with tuna, egg, prawn, salmon, northern clam, crab stick, and eel fish sushi. The tuna was a little bit chewy, but I guess that’s what you get when you order raw fish. If you are a fan of Nigiri Sushi, this is the place you must visit.
Also, one must try the Sushi rolls here, which usually come in 6 pieces. Their Beef Bulgogi Sushi roll and Prawn Tempura Sushi roll are the best. They also have plenty of side dishes to choose from and meals to offer. Apart from Sushi, you can try out their Rice bowl.

It’s a and cozy Asian restaurant If you’re looking for a dine-out with family or friends. The staff indeed is friendly. The Sushi at this place usually comes in 4-8 pieces with a handful of varieties. It would be best to try out the spicy tuna roll and salmon avocado cheese; they taste perfect. We also did try the dim sum they had to offer, but it was too much oily for the regular ones. They do have varieties of noodles; try out the burning noodle. You Must try their Classic Hong Kong bubble tea. I was surprised to see their beverage menu as they did have many varieties in it, including Calamansi, golden needle, lavender blossom-infused tea, etc. But the one thing must be Sushi, must visit this place if you specifically are craving for one.

This is another pan-Asian restaurant located in Indiranagar. This place attracts diners for the interior décor they have. Their customized frames, seating area with printed pillows, pottery, and pretty much everything is done only by keeping the Japanese tradition in mind. You would find different types of Asian and Chinese dishes here as well. But let’s talk about the Sushi they have on the menu. They do not have as many varieties as the other restaurants, but You should try the Ebi tempura, the crispy prawn, and the California roll with tobiko. Other than this, they have some fantastic and delicious noodles to choose from.
